“Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.”
In the Lutheran tradition, Word and sacrament are at the heart of our worship experience. We read and preach from the Word of God. We bring ourselves closer to the kingdom of God through Baptism and Holy Communion.
Within the framework of tradition we work to keep worship fresh through various styles.
1st Sunday of the month
Includes Lutheran liturgy and time-honored hymns
2nd & 4th Sunday of the month
Brings together contemporary and traditional elements of worship with a largely spoken service setting.
3rd Sunday of the month
Includes praise hymns accompanied by modern instrumentation.
5th Sunday (if one exists)
The youth help to prepare and participate in this service.
A few things you should know about sharing in prayer and praise of our Lord with us.
- Communion is celebrated weekly and opened to anyone who believes that Jesus is our Savior
- Casual Dress is the norm with us. We live by the words of one of our favorite praise hymns, “Come, just as you are to worship.”
- Sunday Services start at 9:30 am
- Fellowship of food, drink, and plenty of conversation follows every service in the Church Office building.
